This year the most eclectic festival in Europe booked notably Saint Vitus, The Obsessed and King Diamond
As each year we went to the most eclectic festival in Europe, Hellfest Open Air.

We notably saw:
  • the hardcore of Bunkum, Escarres and Strong As Ten
  • the punk of Discharge and GBH
  • the country then the drone doom set by Hank 3
  • the heavy metal de King Diamond and Ozzy & friends
  • the thrash metal of Death Angel
  • the doom black metal of Forgotten Tomb
  • and all the doom, sludge and stoner bands of course : Thou, Orange Goblin, UfoMammut, Yob, Saint Vitus, The Obsessed, Pentagram, Acid King


For those who missed the excellent performance of Saint Vitus here's the first song of the show, "Blessed Night".




King Diamond show was perfect too.



We met again with our friend Jim from The Wounded Kings, with whom Surtr performed in March.
